As Christians and as citizens we are all called to SERVE. 1 Peter 4:10 states the charge well: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms
All men, whether members of South-Sub or not, are welcomed to be a part of the South Sub Brotherhood. Called to be the ‘hands, feet, and heart of Jesus’ in some real ways to each other and those in our community, we realize that together, shoulder to shoulder, we can do amazing things through Christ, for others, and for each other (Phil 4:13).
ANNUAL SPRING RETREAT
Each spring (typically the first weekend in May) we hold a Brotherhood retreat up in the mountains. This is a time away where we build relationships, have fun, and learn more about following Jesus.
September - May
We meet for breakfast and Christian fellowship on a monthly basis during the school year with featured guest speakers. Our breakfasts include Santiago burritos, Lamar Donuts and lots of coffee - with occasional breakfast delights made by our own kitchen crew. (7:30 AM to 9 AM)
SERVING & HELPING
We assist on a regular basis with needs and events in our church and in our surrounding area. Currently we are providing man-power for a community furniture ministry in and through Love INC. We pick up furniture donations from the community and deliver to families in need.
