A Season of Trusting

good morning listen it is good to see everybody here at church today you know today's been a fun day already for me because as I shook hands with folks that I've known week after week after week I've been able to shake hands and meet a few people that are brand new here today so if you're a guest with us here at at South Sub Church a special welcome to you um as you leave today um we have a special gift that we'd love to give you if you stop by our guest center welcome center right across the hallway they have just a small gift for you but if this is your first time especially we are so glad you're here you know we always say this about South Sub Church we're one church with two different expressions of worship if you're here at the 9:00 am service um it's our contemporary service if you come to 11 o'clock it's our more traditional service with a choir and here's what I love about it we're one church um we all have different preferences of maybe how we like our music or how we like to do church and that's okay but we are one heart and one church and we're glad you're here today um if you've looked around you see a lot of people wearing these green t-shirts and you're thinking "Well I got left out." We don't want you to feel left out okay here's what's going on our vacation Bible school starts not Monday but a week from Monday and Debbie um Dona our children's pastor already told me that we have record number of kids signed up this year um at least compared the last several years so we are very very excited about that and you're maybe saying "Well I want a green t-shirt." You know what debbie would love to give you a a green t-shirt and it's actually free all that you have to do is sign up to be a volunteer and she will give you a green t-shirt okay so that would be a really easy easy thing to do so she is really looking for a couple more volunteers we had a couple people that had to drop out because some illnesses so if you have any availability not this week but the next week from 9 to 12 it will be the best week of your entire summer i promise you and you need to schedule a nap from 1 to three i promise you that also but it will be a great great week listen we're wrapping up our series today called seasons and here's what we've done the last few weeks is we've looked at we and realize we all go through different seasons of life sometimes they're fun seasons sometimes they're not so fun seasons but in fact the Bible says that life is full of seasons and here's what I've been surprised this is our fourth week of our of our season series and I have been surprised over the number of people that have come to me and said "Wow Keith I needed this series that I am going through." And for most people that have come and approached me they said "I'm going through a difficult season." Some have gone through a diff are going through a difficult season of maybe just some health problems had a few people come up to me and just said "Relationships in our family are just there's some struggles going on there." So there's relationship struggles in a season that you find yourself in um there's just all kinds of different seasons some have seasons they're going through grief right now some have seasons of just just anxiety and so we all have these different seasons that we're going through but here's what I recognize that everyone no matter what season you're going through it seems everyone has the same goal as they're going through those difficult seasons you know what that one goal is survive right have you ever been in a season or maybe you're in that season right now you're just going "If I can just make it to and fill in the blank if I can just make it to this date if I can just make it to this moment I just need to survive because I need to move on to the next season." And that's really all of us isn't it even if you're not going through a difficult season right now it's coming right that's just life that we all have difficult seasons that we go through and so we just want to get through it and survive but more than just survive here here's what I think we we really want we want to thrive you don't want to just endure and last and see if you can come outstanding when the season's done we really regardless if it's a good or bad season our goal is to really thrive as we move through that season and here's what I've discovered in life and I've discovered it not out of experience but I've discovered it out of the scripture that there is one thing that regardless of the season we need or the season that we're in one thing that we need for our life if we're going to move through that season and do more than just survive but we're actually going to thrive and that one thing that we need is trust another way to put it faith we need to be able to trust and say "God if you're the God of all seasons I may not agree with you in the season I'm in i may not agree with you God in the way it's going about but I am going to trust that you're the God of this season and I'm going to trust you that you're going to get me through this season." And so today I want us to look at this idea of trust but but here's can we be honest this idea of trust it's a lot easier for me to preach up here on a Sunday than for you and I to live on a Monday it's really easy for me to look at you going "God's word says you need to have faith." I should look at you and say "Hey you need to trust God more." That is really easy for me to proclaim to you but would we all agree to try to live that can be really really tough and so what I want to do today is take you to a passage in scripture that actually the apostle Peter is writing a letter to some people and they're going through a very very difficult season in life now their season may be a little bit different than our season but I bet if we could get together 2,000 years in between us and compare stories and feelings and emotions and all that we experience in the seasons that we go through I bet even though there's 2,000 years difference between them and us today there's a whole lot of similarities and so if you have your Bibles you can look up First Peter if you didn't bring your Bible no worries we'll have it on the screen or as you brought your handout in we'll have that same thing up there as well um but I want us to look at this idea and the apostle Peter is going to give us some ideas how do we have trust how how do we build trust now here's what we need to understand trust is a difficult thing to get but it really comes in really what I consider three different kind of parts or phases of our trusting and it starts with our head it moves to our heart and from there it goes to our hands here's what I mean by that like I can look at you and say you need a trust but until you can just kind of get it in your head that you need a trust it can never move to your heart the passion the part where the trust begins to come out it never gets there and so trust always begins just kind of factual intellectually at least we got to grab some truths about trust and from there it begins to move to our heart i remember years ago when I was in student ministry when I would teach over trust to junior high and high school students i would always have this object lesson it was called the trust fall and I would bring a student up in the on top the sta or on the stage and I would put them on a platform about as tall as this table right here and I would have them stand there and I would gather all the other students around them and I as I stood there I said "Here's what's going to happen i want you just to lean back and fall back and trust that your friends are going to catch you i started to try that today but we didn't have enough of the CPR reviving machines to do that in here so I save that more for middle school and high school students but it's amazing i mean here are these middle school and high school students that would try and dare and do anything but to stand on a table this high but here's what had to happen i had to explain to them here's what's going to happen here's who's going to be here i had to take them through every step of what's going to happen it had to start in their head and then I had to have them look around at who would be catching them their best friend their really good friend i never put a brother or sister in the catching because that never would put trust in there but here's what happened it had to go from their head to their heart and then eventually I would lead one of those students to fall backwards and everybody would stand there and they would catch them it went from their heads to their hearts to action to hands and that's what happens in all of our lives when it comes to trust that we want more trust for the situation we find ourselves in but there is a process that trust grows and builds it goes from the head to the heart to the hands and so here in First Peter here's what's going on peter's writing to a group of people and they're going through a very difficult situation um they were living many of them in Rome and Nero took over and as you know from our history lessons that Nero began to persecute many many Christians kill them put them in the arenas and so the Christians scattered everywhere they lost their homes they lost their families they lost their friends they were definitely going through a very difficult situation and so as they were scattered wherever they went to live Peter sits down and he writes a letter so Christians everywhere that are scattered during this difficult season could understand how they should take the next steps in their difficult season i imagine as they were running off and leaving family and leaving friends leaving their home there was times they thought "Why do good things happen to bad people?" I'm sure many of these Christians 2,000 years ago thought "Is Jesus really worth it because I'm trying to follow Jesus i'm trying to be a Christian but these things keep happening to me anybody ever felt that way during a difficult season so we really do have a lot in common don't we so here's what Peter writes there in 1 Peter 1 6 and 7 he says this so be truly glad there is a wonderful joy ahead even though you must endure many trials for a little while these trials will show that your faith is genuine it is being tested as a fire test and purifies gold though your faith is far from more precious than mere gold so when your faith remains strong through many trials it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world so here's what I want to do i want to give you three head truths remember trust has to start in the head go to the heart then come to the hands so if you're here today going Keith I I'm just nowhere close to really trusting God like I should don't beat yourself up don't walk out of here ashamed because you don't have the whole package together let's just start with the head so let me give you just three what I call head truths that you can take from what Peter is writing to the Christians back then and to all of us sitting in this room right now so here's the first one if you're writing things down here here's what you need to write down that trials produce joy trials produce joy that's the first head fact that we get there he said in verse six "So be glad be truly glad there is wonderful look at that wonderful joy ahead even though must you must endure many trials for a little while." Here's what Peter is doing he was readjusting their focus he knew this back then just like now that sometimes we get in difficult situations and we're looking at what's directly in front of us and we become paralyzed with fear and anxiety because all we can see is how hard things are whether it's grief whether it's depression whether it's anxiety whether it's stress whatever that difficult situation is bringing all that we can see right there in front of us is that situation and we lose our joy because it looks so big and overwhelming and we become paralyzed in the very situation that we find ourselves in is that we can't see down the road and we lose our joy and and here's what we need to understand and this is what Peter's trying to say that these trials are not meant to steal your joy when you go through difficult situ situations in life it's not designed to take away your happiness But to keep the joy that you want to hang on to that you don't want to lose you can't look at just what's in front of you you also have to be able to look down the road at what's ahead of you in fact Psalmist wrote this in chapter 30:5 he says "At night we may cry fill in the blank why you think he's crying why you and I cry at night at night we may cry but when morning comes we will celebrate." The psalmist is going "What's in front of me is making me sobb at night but I know morning's coming i know another day is coming there'll be another time down the road and I will have laughter when that comes." Finding the joy in our trials requires us to take our eyes off of today and put our eyes on tomorrow and so the first truth remember we're not trying to grab hold of all our trust right now because we know it can be overwhelming but the first head truth is this is that trials do produce joy but sometimes the joy is down the road and that's what we have to focus on here's number two second head truth trials have purpose okay if God is the author of all things God allows trials to come our way in fact sometimes God will even give us trials because he has a purpose he's trying to do more in us and through us than we want done but he knows if he doesn't do in us and through us and build us through these trials we will never become the people that he desires us to be and so we need to understand that trials actually have a purpose here's what I want you to do think of whatever difficult situation you find yourself in right now you might have lost your joy because all you see is the difficulty of it but what if you refocused and realized God is allowing that trial in your life because he sees something in you that hasn't matured and grown and had fruit yet there's purpose behind it he uses illustration of gold being refined here's what happens if there's no jewelers in here that really understands gold when there's gold out there they mine the gold but there's all kind of ore and impurities within that raw gold that the gold miners find so they will take the gold and they will heat it up and they have to heat it up to a temperature almost over 2,000 degrees but once that gold is heated up to 2,000 degrees and it begins to melt here's what takes place all the impurities all the stuff that's non gold will begin to rise to the top and the master jeweler the master goldsmith will simply just take a scoop and skim off the impurities at the very top of it and the Apostle Peter is saying this he's going "Your your your faith is like gold but your faith is not perfect." So God gives you trials that's the heat and he heats it up and some of you are going "Dude he's heating me up way past 2,000." Okay I am way up three four 5,000 but he's heating you up and the purpose behind that trial that difficulty that you're in right now is he is allowing and helping and making and creating the impurities to rise to the top here's what happens in our lives we live out of impurity i'm not talking impur sexually i'm not talking impurity bad stuff i'm just saying the junk of life and we begin to live and thrive and just get in a rut of living off the impurities and God's going "No no no no there is more in you than that." And so the trials help the stuff the junk the impurities the non-God stuff to rise to the top to be skimmed off that your faith can be more precious even than gold and so when God gives us these trials it is to help us have purpose the book of James says this in chapter one and found and this is I love the way the message puts this consider it joy i'm sorry considered a sheer gift friends when tests and challenges come at you from all sides you know that under pressure your faith life is forced into the open and shows its true colors so don't try to get out of anything prematurely let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed and not deficient in any way i don't know about you but when a difficult situation comes in my life I will spend more time and energy trying to get out of the situation than to let the situation have its way in me so I can be more Christlike in who I am but trials have a purpose and here's the last head truth okay remember nobody's saying now go do something with it right we're just getting head truth because trust faith goes from the head to the heart to the hands so here's your third head truth third head truth says this enduring trials brings eternal rewards enduring the trials getting through the trials moving through those trials actually brings rewards in your life look at me again or look with me again at verse seven there in first Peter apostle wrote this so when your faith remains strong through many trials it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world bring you praise and honor and glory not that you stand on some metal stand in front of the church going "Look at me." It says when Jesus comes you'll receive this praise and honor and glory there will be rewards in heaven when we get to heaven as followers of Jesus when we get to heaven there will be rewards in heaven on how we lived out our faith now let me make sure we understand this okay your reward is not to get to heaven okay that's a free gift scripture says this that it's a free gift lest any man boast so our salvation is a gift from God we can't earn our salvation there is no meriting our salvation so when as a follower of Jesus that gives your life to Christ he did all the work you just said "I'll take it Jesus." That's what gets you to heaven but scripture does let us know that for those who trust in Jesus and enter into heaven there will be rewards on how you lived out your faith and so part of when trials when difficulties come our way it is a testing of our faith and depending on how we worked and moved and thrived in that testing will be the re type of rewards the honor the praise and the glory from Jesus like reward like do I get a bigger house like do do I get a better car in heaven you know it says praise and honor and glory will be given on the day Jesus returns i don't know what it looks like in heaven but if my savior that died on the cross for my sins that gave me the free gift of salvation and I enter in heaven and all he does is say "Good job Keith." I want you to know that's enough i'm gonna kind of poke my chest out and just say "Thank you Jesus." And I'm gonna give it right back to him and say "But I couldn't have done it without you." But there will be rewards in heaven as we walk through our trials together so those three things there's heads up okay some of you needed those today like faith is trust is so far like you're so just in the middle of the difficulty you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel and you needed to know those three things but the question is then how do you move those three head truths that your heart grabs hold of it so your hands and your life can start living it out that's a whole another sermon isn't it and honestly I can't think of anybody that would be better to preach this part of the sermon than a couple at our church that has been walking through a very very difficult time i'm going to ask my friends your friends Debbie and Randy Dona would you make your way up here they're going would you just welcome them as they

come as they come up here um let for you may not know who they are let me just give you a little introduction to them you guys have been attending South Sub Church for almost 35 years don't be shy come on up here front okay for those that do know them um we've had to put a muzzle on Ry's mouth during this time so he'll let his wife talk up here so um if you see him being quiet what's wrong with Randy we're going to let Debbie talk more today so we're going to give that a try but y'all been a member of our church for over 35 years debbie's been our children's pastor we think 11 i think this is my 12th vacation Bible school but I think I've been working for 11 years okay so 12th vacation Bible school can y'all just affirm her for all the work she does and you may be saying "Well I thought y'all loved vacation Bible school you'll have over a hundred kids there is that a trial?" No that's not the trial I've been going through last September Debbie came to work i'll never forget this and you had not been feeling really well for a couple of weeks i'm kind of tired and finally you had a toothache and finally you said "I'm going to the doctor." She just went to care now we thought she's going to get a little you know antibiotics or just a little shot or something to feel better debbie tell us what took place from that doctor's care now visit that day in last September well the doctor's office sent me to Littleton ER they did a EKG and that came out fine and then they did blood work and the doctor came in and said "Your white blood cell count is so higher than we've ever seen here at Littleton Hospital and that's not the record you want to set." So uh she said "When it's that high we know you have some kind of cancer." And that's always hard to hear it wasn't a real shock to me because both of my parents had passed away again with cancer but I had prayed and talked to God and said "If I have a say in this I'd really like to not go that way." And so I was like "Well I guess that didn't work out just like I had hoped it would." Would you say that was the beginning of a very difficult trial it was the beginning of a long season yeah and what kind of cancer was you were you diagnosed with i was diagnosed with leukemia and I basically knew it was a blood cancer and uh my grandpa and three of my uncles are pastors so I grew up in the church and I immediately thought of my grandpa preaching about how there's life in the blood and I thought man if my blood's bad life could be Yeah cut short now yeah and it was a really bad cancer um a kind that all of our friends were googling what we heard going "Oh no this does not look good." Nobody wanted to say that out loud but we're looking going "This is not good." So long story short you ended up having a bone marrow transplant i was at Littleton for what four days and then they transferred me to St luke's Presbyterian uh blood cancer institute and uh when I got there they had six or eight folding chairs lined up with oncologists sitting there and I thought "This is not good." when you get that big of a crowd to work on your case and um so that was the beginning and then they tested to see what the different mutations in my DNA were to see how I would respond to chemo so you went through couple months of chemo before even the bone marrow transplant just some horrific those that have been around anybody with chemo it's it really kills you to keep you alive randy let me ask you you're walking with your wife y'all been married how long 44 years on Valentine's Day

yeah what's going through your mind your senior wife there's nothing you can do as a husband nothing really other than just do what the doctors tell you to do yeah that's about it i mean you know even even some members of our family did weren't familiar with the AML leukemia that she had so it was really tough to to even guess what would happen next and I Googled one day and I never googled after that because it just threw so many things out there so we really put our faith in the doctors at that point because they in fact the doctor that she had Dr mount Joy he had had the same exact leukemia when he was 18 and he decided at that point that was going to be his life's work he's only 38 years old now but he was a real inspiration for Deb too and he he just watched her so closely now for those of you who don't know the story um I'm going to jump to the end so you'll know how things are good right now and then we'll go back to the middle of it do you have cancer right now right now uh everything's looking good i did have a little flare up last week with the what do they call it host versus graph or graph versus host disease so that's something I still struggle with and I'm being medicated for but but as far as you know the bone marrow transplant took place they've been amazed at then right and God gets the praise right amen we can clap now that's really easy to clap right now right but there was a number of months from September to just really about a month ago trust okay you've grown up teaching kids trust you've grown up in the church yourself learning trust you have family that are pastors but now this difficult situation required a trust from you that you've never probably had to really just put out there how did you do that how did you go from head to heart well I think the biggest thing for me was having that foundation that I grew up with and I brought a gonna try to say this without Can I hold it i know you you just get emotional that's okay and we'll get emotional with you when I was uh about 11 years old we had a vacation bible school at my church and the Sunday or the vacation bible school class I was in back then you had primary beginner juniors and I was in the junior class and they held up this beautiful white Bible with gold edging right now it looks a little tattered and torn but at the time it was really something that I wanted really badly but to earn it you had to memorize Bible verses and normally in my little country church I went to it would have been a sure end because I was kind of the that kid but they brought in a ringer from Gateway Arkansas that gave me a run for my money and every day as I was at vacation bible

school there was an elderly woman in the neighborhood that was had uh rheumatoid arthritis and she was homebound and she would sit at her table and look up verses and when I got out of Bible school she would help me memorize them i memorized almost 300 verses to win that Bible and the first chapter that I memorized was Psalm one and Dawson preached on that just a few weeks ago to our graduating seniors and I learned everything in King James but it says "Blessed is the man that standeth not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of sinners nor siteth in the seat of the scornful for his delight is in the law of the Lord and on this law does he meditate day and night." So to get to Keith's question I meditated on all those verses all those promises all those hymns so when Randy thought I was just kind of quiet and withdrawn I trusted him trust i trusted him with my earthly life i trusted the doctors there with my earthly life but I was getting my spiritual life in order and thank I'm so thankful for the Christian foundation that I had and so for all of you wearing green t-shirts and you'll be teaching kids verses this week and sometimes you'll go home at noon going "Are they even listening?" God's word will never come back void and we don't know what we're giving these 112 kids inside their souls that they may not see we may not see the fruit right now but Psalms 1 says in due season it will bear fruit and some of you right now as you're going it's my I'm not even talking vacation Bible school this trial I'm going through and you're trying to get God's truth that we talked about from here to here trust goes from here to here and sometimes it's just calling on what you've already known just going I'm not going to try to go further i'm just going to grab hold of what I know i think Randy has a plaque and I know uh it's hard to follow Chuck and Leela's story last week it's a different season and they were dealing with the child where I was dealing with my own health but I really did follow the one day at a time i thought if it got the Israelites through all their wandering in the desert it would surely get me through and so sometimes it wasn't a day it was a minute or a hour or just one day at a time from the head to the heart right yeah randy for you what got you through all of this because you're trusting again it's your story but it's not just your story just all of our stories but you were the most intimate other than Debbie in this trusting journey yeah one of the things that people would ask was "Aren't you angry at God?" And I I never did and never have gotten angry at God because I figured how can I get angry at somebody that really wants her to be healed just like the doctors you can't get angry i couldn't get angry at the doctors certainly couldn't get angry at God but watching her strength just sitting by her side I mean she's this is day 244 since she was diagnosed she's in the hospital for 116 days and every day driving there or after I wake up at night being there I just thank God for for being here and watching over her and it really built my faith and my trust in God because watching her even as bad as she hurt I knew God was there i knew he was going to take care of her never had a doubt i had a lot of questions but I never had a doubt that he was there and he was going to make things right for her and the biggest thing too is we knew where our salvation was she was saved and that's the biggest thing we can hold on to as we are Christians is we know we're saved i wanted to say that not only did I have a lot of prayers from everyone here I got cards I got uh pictures from the kids at one point we had my room nearly wallpapered with pictures that the kids had drawn and sent to me and uh I never thanked everyone individually but man it was such a support my small group our love does group my spiritual mentors i'm looking out and I see Nidita nidita was one of my greatest spiritual mentors and I remember texting her when we were talking about the bone marrow transplant and my family just thought there was no question I had a 30% chance without the bone marrow transplant and a 70% chance with the bone marrow transplant so I texted Nita and I said "My family you know thinks that this is just a no-brainer but you know I've read all the information i could die from this bone marrow transplant i've been through all this chemo i've been through so much maybe I should just go with the 30% chance but you know I'll do it for my family and Nita said "You've got 70% plus God." And those little reminders was you know what I needed that I wasn't just dealing with the medical side of it i had God yeah church here's what I want you to hear how do you get from the head to the heart how do you get that trust to move there what I just heard you and Randy what you said is it wasn't just what's in you and it's not just God it's the people around you that without the body of Christ without individual people like Native without all the prayer groups without the small groups without the kids drawing their pictures it might have been more difficult for the trust to get from here to the heart and that's the reason the body of Christ is so important to all of us it's more than just coming and sitting on a Sunday and just listening to a sermon it is engaging with other people that they don't just know your story they live your story i remember a couple of weeks after you were diagnosed and I came to church on a Sunday and um there was a time that not only your bad news there's another couple here that found out their grown child was really sick and probably going to die i was so heavy like just I don't even know how I could preach that day i was so just God I can't and you walk in and you see you and you and you and you and you and you're like but we're all in it together and so trust from the head to the heart to the hands and guess what the theme is for BBS this year true north trusting Jesus in a wild world we all get wild things thrown at us and this was mine yeah listen I I have to want you and us to share a story because this is like serious but funny like you had one prayer right Debbie back September she's sick and like January she's wanting us to host this comm not community like it was an areawide vacation Bible school training and she's still in the hospital recovering from your from your bone marrow transplant and no one wanted to tell Debbie no but we're going Debbie you're too sick for us to do this but in all of that you had one prayer what was it i said 'Well if they can't host the fun shop at least I want to go.' And Randy had to drive me but I went and then I prayed God I know you can still use me i can plant some more seeds for you please let me be able to do another BBS here we are and here we are

now I'd like to do more than just BBS debbie came into my office a couple weeks ago said "Um pastor can I talk with you because I've been having this prayer God help me to do one more VBS would it be wrong to change that prayer and just say more than one VBS at this point?" So yes we'll pray for more than one V vacation Bible school um Randy Debbie either of you if someone is in this trial right now regardless of what it is and it may not be at the point of yours life and death but but your trial your struggle is yours and it's real what would you share with them on trust oh my goodness do you want to go first you know one thing I learned is I'm looking out here like Keith said I know almost every one of you if not all of you were part of praying for her and it helped me so much you know I've been an elder for 25 years but I never realized the impact of the prayers that I was saying for other people until I received them debbie received them herself and I tell you it is powerful and it's changed my life it's changed my outlook on how important it is for us to reach out to others because when you need it you'll feel it and I felt every one of those prayers all the comments that came on the caring bridge the the letters the calls the just everything so you guys are part of what healed Debbie so they'll ever forget that well I guess I would say that for me uh Chuck what Chuck and Leila went through and Leila's caring bridge kind of inspired Randy to start one up and that really helped him process but like he said it was the prayers and being a staff person and a worker and the one usually being the one trying to help others it's really hard to turn around and ask or need help from others and so even now I still struggle with that but I'm thankful that I have the help and the prayers of everyone here so don't don't not depend on their brothers and sisters around you debbie's been working behind the scenes slowly getting ready for vacation bible school not doing Sunday morning kids yet because we want to kind of let her build her strength up but for the last month you've been getting ready for it so we're calling vacation bible school her I'm back moment okay but you know what can I speed it up can we just call today Debbie Dona's I'm back moment so church would you welcome back Debbie Dona [Applause] i'm going to ask our worship team to um come on up here you can remain standing we're going to sing a song of worship together um but you know we said it's Debbie Dona's I'm back as we sing this song may I encourage you trust from the head to the heart to the hands this can be your I'm back moment may not be back at the place you want to be may not be back doing this things may not be back in the order you want them but you can declare today God I'm back trust from the head to the heart to the hands so Lord Jesus we we look at this moment as a holy moment a holy moment because God you've been orchestrating this moment from even before Debbie knew she was sick you were orchestrating this moment and so we thank you we give you all the praise we give you all the glory just thank you Jesus and we also recognize though that while she stands here at the best we know whole holy and healed that sometimes other stories don't have the same outcome and so today Jesus when we declare I'm back it is for us to focus on your salvation it is for us to focus on your purposes not our preferences that we will trust you Jesus completely and we pray this in your name amen
