South Sub
Worship

TRADITIONAL

The South Sub Choir is a dynamic, engaging, and rewarding community within the life of the church that comes from a decades-long tradition of fellowship, service, and ministry. The music they perform encompasses a wide range of styles, including classical, jazz, gospel, praise & worship and many more. In addition to performing anthems and other music elements for worship services, singers also receive training and immersion in proper singing technique, musicianship, stylistic interpretation, repertoire exposure, music history, and expressive elements.

All are welcome to participate in choir at South Sub. There is no audition to join, and no formal background or training in music is required. Those with previous experience in choirs will find a creative, intellectually stimulating, and spiritually rewarding community to continue pursuing their love of singing and serving God. Those with no previous experience in choirs will find a safe, welcoming environment where the essential skills, techniques and repertoire will provide them the musicianship and inspiration to become lifelong singers.

The choir rehearses every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the choir room and sings every Sunday at the 11:00 AM traditional worship service.  For more information or to ask any questions please email Dr. Stuart Dameron by clicking the "Get Involved" button below.
