Homes of Hope

Be part of the team to put the love of Christ into action by building a home for a family, in less than a weekend! Families welcome.

You must have or be able to get your passport before the trip and it must be valid for six months after September 5, 2024.

You will fly to San Diego, California where you will be picked up by a charter bus at 2:00pm Thursday, Sept. 5th.  We will cross the border and travel to the YWAM compound at  San Antonio Del Mar where we will stay and eat for the next 3 days.  On Friday and Saturday, we  will construct two homes with the help of YWAM foremen. After a celebration service Saturday night, we will head out for return trip to San Diego airport early Sunday morning.

If you would like to join us the (subsidized) cost will be $400 per person (13 and over) , and $300 for children 12 and under.  This is to cover 65% of the food, lodging and transportation.  The balance of the cost and the materials to build the homes will be covered by donations.  You will also need to make your own flight arrangements to and from San Diego.

This will be a life changing trip not only for the families who will have a roof over their heads and a secure place to call home, but also for all of us who participate as the hands and feet of God.  Tools are provided and no prior building experience is needed.

A payment of $200/person will secure your place.
